ABOUT US____

Amor E Moda/Love and Fashion was recently established in April 2009, created by –MEGGANROXANNE- and designed for Mature and spontaneous people who value their identity and know the importance of individualism. Inspired by art genres such as urban surrealism and pop art, each item of clothing is original in design and aims to reflect the qualities of each individual, weather their backgrounds Urban, Retro, Classic or Vintage. In addition to this Amor E Moda clothing can be worn by anyone regardless of your race, age and gender.

THE VISION___

Inspired by the art, culture and the history of Africa, I decided to create a image/logo that can represent that but also include a retro kinda funky look to it at the same time. I also have a passion for surrealism art as well as pop art, so combined, this is the image I came up with, hoping that it can reflect that. The black woman with an afro, with half her face multicoloured stands for diversity of our culture, the rope chain with the brake and a date in the middle symbolizes the abolishment of slavery, the lion stands for strength, the eye of Horus is a ancient Egyptian symbol for protection, a sample from Salvador Dali’s painting, “the persistence of memory” is located in the middle of Africa.
